The Governors would like to thank you for your responses. The large majority of respondents supported the notion of federation as a security for the long term sustainability of two small rural schools, but were concerend about the 'stretch' of a single Executive Head across the two, whilst both schools were expanding to Primary and undergoing build programs for the additional classrooms. The Governors agreed with this and so each school will have a head teacher who will work co-operatively and collaboratively through this process, which will be especially helpful taking our first cohort of Year 6 pupils through their transition to secondary education.

The Governing Bodies will form a single federated Governing Body on September 1st 2018.
